Advanced Temperature Management
Built in intelligence - Infrared
temperature sensor – is unique on nEXT85. This will deliver an increased
performance envelope. This also protects
the pump from over temperature and allows both higher throughput, and the
ability to bake the pump with forced air cooling rather than water cooling.
Intelligent Communications
nEXT85 improves on the impressive
communication options of nEXT pumps with an on-board USB port, allowing simple
communication with Edwards free nST software on your laptop, even when the pump
is in use!
Choice
With a choice of either the nEXT85D duplex
drag and turbomolecular stage, or nEXT85H high compression variant, customers
are able to select the most appropriate pump for the specific application with
a focus on pumping speed or compression ratio.
Both variants are available with NW40,
ISO63, CF63 and ISO100 inlet flange sizes.
Optimised Platform for UHV Applications
nEXT85H is the perfect pump of choice for
any UHV application.
- Class leading compression
ratios for light gases
- The ability to bake the pump
whilst air cooling as an alternative to water cooling
- The new normally closed vent
valve will ensure the vacuum integrity of your system in the event of power
failure.
Fitted Standard on the T-Station 85, a True ‘Plug and Pump’ Solution
For the complete solution the T-Station 85
seamlessly combines the new nEXT85H turbomolecular pump with either a dry
diaphragm or oil sealed backing pump, and a simple controller, to provide class
leading pumping in a ready to go package.
Wet or dry, the choice is yours:
- E2M1.5
oil sealed backing pump is proven for reliability and performance
- XDD1
dry backing pump is a low cost dry solution for clean applications
Your Ideal Turbomolecular Pump
The ideal backing pump would be the Edwards
RV3 rotary vane pump or nXDS6i dry scroll pump, depending on customer specific
applications. Edwards TIC and TAG
controllers are also fully compatible with nEXT85, and a full range of cooling,
venting and accessories are available.
